Part 1: EFT Tapping Points
What is EFT?
EFT is an energy psychology technique. It could also be described as a psychological form of acupressure in which there are no needles involved. It is a comparatively fast form of therapy in comparison with most other techniques available in the world today.
Tune into the problem by using words and then tap on different acupoints in the body and rebalance the energy.
Which Points Do You Tap on?
Initially you start by tapping on the outer edge of the hand. That is the part of the hand that if you were a karate expert would impact the surface if you were doing a karate chop.
The diagram below illustrates the karate point
Generally you would use either one, two or four fingers (your choice) from the other hand to tap the karate point using nice gentle percussion.
Each point that you are tapping on is about the size of a pin head. You should tap approximately seven times on each point, whilst you state the problem out aloud (ideally, although you can say it silently in your mind if this is not possible). The number of times you tap does not have to be accurate, it is only a rough guide.
The EFT Tapping Sequence is set up as follows:
The Set- Up
Karate Point: “Even though I have this problem, I completely and totally love and approve of myself”
